Nanoloop for iOS/Android has a lot of cool features, but by far the coolest is the "track send" feature. With one tap, you can e-mail a track to another Nanoloop user as raw data and they can import it and remix it just as easily. This is how my first collaboration came about; Jake Allison asked if I wanted to collaborate on a track and in the end we had "Z-Saber." Eventually he suggested I organize a remix EP with all the Nanoloop musicians we could gather and what you have here is the fruits of our collective labor. 12 remixes from 11 different musicians, from all corners of the globe, across a diverse spectrum of styles. I can safely say there's something in here for everyone. Well, everyone that likes music.

Includes remixes from: Nic B // UncleBibby // tozo // Strong Suit // Jake Allison // bollocks office // Holy Negative 0 // sylcmyk // A. Campbell Payne // Forrest James // the ghost servant

whatever DAW you use, go to Sounds to Sample and buy a bunch of Electro House samples packs.

You'll have drum loops, basslines, melodies and a bunch of cool FX.

Then you will realize that you don't need to know a lick of music theory or possess any real talent to make electro house. You just need enough $$$ for the right samples smile

I'm re-upping all of my images to imgur right now.
Then I'm going to go through all of my posts and replace all of the images.
THEN I'm gonna go delete my photobucket account... I'm hella tired of that shit... flickr too.

I'll also post the few things I had time to work on today.

you may suffer from obsessive compulsive behavior...

not that suffering is a bad thing...

y'all are posting in a troll thread.

How do you guys not get tired

we have shitty taste and we're easily impressed.

So this isn't the first time I've heard this discussion and to be honest, I don't really know what to make of it. The platforms I use involve limited software on fully capable hardware, so basically my chipmusic is entirely defined by the software, not the hardware. But then some people would say that everything I make is either fakebit or not chip at all because it's not coming out of a gameboy or NES. And sometimes I don't call my work "chipmusic," I just call it "micromusic" because I'm working with a limited set of channels.

So my question is this: if person A uses a fully capable hardware device (like a modern computer or iPad) but makes music that sounds like classic gameboy tunes (either via samples, emulators or just clever synthesis) and person B uses a limited hardware device with a soundchip (like a NES or gameboy or c64) but somehow manages to push the limits to the point that it sounds like "modern music," would you say that person A is making chip music and person B is not? Would person A's music be more "chip"?
