I just want to go on record and say that I rip off other artists' instrument sounds, usually with their permission and I see nothing wrong with that.
yeah my recommendation is solo each track (by muting all the rest) and export. It does not have a feature to export in stems.
I'm releasing an iNanoloop remix EP in a week or two, always glad to hear more people playing with it, it's a great program

I just find this kind of statement incredibly disingenuous. Here's the thing -- no one is a better or worse person for liking or disliking the things they like, and it really seems like you're getting to the point of not hating dubstep, but rather hating people who like dubstep (or brostep or corestep or metalrhythmcorebrostepbrostep).
I agree with what you are saying but I also understand where Downstate is coming from. I imagine it is very annoying for him that so many people like something that he thinks is shite. That's definitely his problem, but then it is also very annoying when you are DJing dubstep nights and you are playing valid dubstep tracks and everyone is coming up to you requesting Skrillex and saying that what you are playing is not dubstep.
It's like if I was DJing a club and I was playing some classic french house and someone came up and asked me to play dance music. Something like this actually happened to me once and my friend stepped in and said "she obviously wants you to play Lady Gaga" and that's what made people happy. And I was obviously super annoyed at this whole exchange.
Basically what I'm saying is you can call something "annoyingly popular" when a lot of people are into it and they annoy you
And it's doubly annoying when the semantics are a mess!
thanks for sharing your work with us. have fun on your adventures
yo not to be a dick, this is definitely one of the greatest chip releases I've ever head and I love 8bp a bunch, but 192kbps mp3? seriously? not even 256 or v0 or the almighty 320? Or FLAC???
I mean I would pay $20 to have this on wax.
Yikes wasn't trying to start a bro/dub argument...
we're not arguing! your parents love each other very much. now go to your room.
decktonic - you make a good point i guess. but alot of the old school cats sold out like hell. Magnetic man anyone ..........
No disagreement there! But I don't think there's anything wrong with selling out

I feel ya. I've gone on the same rant. It's sad that the atmosphere is gone from dubstep.
It's not like one style came along and completely erased the other. I don't think anyone in this day and age pretends that brostep is comparable to the stuff you guys are talking about. They are just different styles. Some people like sub bass and some people like high pitched modem squeals. There's still producers out there making the classic stuff. So what?
Just to be clear, this isn't Holland's biggest "Game Show," this is Holland's biggest show about games. Right? I'm confused.
I dont like this song that much. And I dont get why nobody is shiteing on him and all. But dont feed me, I feel kinda trollish when I say this stuff and all.
horses for courses. It's not my favorite Xilent song but I still like it.
Why the Skrillex drums again?
drums don't get better than Skrillex drums. We've reached the apex of ideal drum samples, everything else is just weird now.
Listening to it now, this is great! Nice work.
Decktonic wrote:Because Xilent is not sampling another artist's work without permission. What you are describing is total apples and oranges. A little Internet research will uncover what Crystal Castles did that had everyone so mad.
No, I mean kids rip offing crystal castles style. Every upbeat sliced vocals song you hear around (kap bambino, you love her cos shes dead, any hipster from Austin, Tx) gets shit from "real" chiptuners, yet this guy takes advance from 16 bit nostalgia and its all fun and smiles.
For the record, the song is not bad for lamestep.
Oh I know nothing about that. Maybe the fact you have to put real in quotation marks says something.
Oh how about this, this takes the cake for weird, Yoshimitsu's theme from Tekken Tag Tournament is based on a Buddhist chant:
Also Sonic Adventure 2 and Katamari Damacy had lots of weird songwriting.
