these guys got it working. i would think it would be os specific before device specific if thats the issue. good luck mane.

guy that started the thread hasnt posted on the site in half a year. unless someone who offered to help him has heard something we havent i think this is officially not happening. which is a damn dirty shame.

This helps a lot. It seems the hum is heard through the speaker / headphone jack and not directly from the backlight.

this is true(for mine at least). slight hum through headphones thats covered up while music is playing. i have an rca on it that doesnt have any hum at all. the light really is very purty too.

chiptune as a word is annoying, regardless of usage. i dont think i could articulate why though.

i cant really relate to this thread cause i dont know anyone who has done this. honestly if i saw something labeled as chip that obviously wasnt regardless of if the artist used to be inna the chip community or not, it would probably annoy me. i dont think i would call em out or anything though. are we talking like a chip tag on soundcloud or like "check out this hot chiptune" for a track that isnt?

I like where this is going..what tracks exactly and from which levels. i could punch them in to lsdj or nanoloop. I need pratice

i dont think that will quite work for songs that need to be implemented into a game. its cool you wanna help though, ive always been curious how much harder it is to use something like mml but id be lying if i said i would ever seriously try it.

i like it when artist are super chip influenced and make no effort to be a part of / associated with the chip community on any level. slugabed comes to mind.
