Back in Finland! We realised that there wasnt much time so we pretty much just wondered around city with Underground. Got to see the obvious things like Big Ben, Hyde Park, Notting Hill, couple of other parks etc., then went shopping and couple of pubs..We didnt find anything on Brick Lane, but it looked like an awesome place.
Had fun times, I gotta get there for 2 weeks or something to get more out of the whole city. So hectic place, first it was a shock but after a while I really liked it.

Brick Lane Market:

That sounds awesome, but it seems it's only on sundays? Im there from thursday morning to saturday night.
This is very good, I love the mix of different instruments and the singing too. Well done!
57 wrote:@DKSTR, what do you plan on doing/ what is your music scene etc etc? Are you going with your GF? because the pedal boats in hyde park are nice for that. Brick lane sunday market is kinda ecclectic and full of life, good for a lunchtime pie or something. But on a saturday or weekday i'd recommend cafe 1001 (brick lane still), go upstairs and chill out on a sofa with a hot choc and then head across the road to rough trade record shop. I've seen the odd chiptune vinyl there on the odd occasion! Erm, if you plan on museuming it up then i suggest you pick a weekday... Restaurant wise i know there's a place in shoreditch that (on mondays) let you roll a dice after your meal, and if you roll 6 you eat for free!
If i think of something else i'll write it down.
Yeah, Im going with just my GF. She's studying to be an actress and huge fan of theatre so we are planning to catch some tickets to some of the bigger theatres on one night (I think thursday). Otherwise I'm pretty open to whatever suggestions, I'm a fan of punk rock, 90's hip hop, all kinds of electronic music, pop, just about everything:) I dont know if I want to buy lots of stuff, but it's always cool to visit great record shops! If there's any cool museums related to music / films I'm interested! Pedal boats sound nice too!
Chinese food is always good! Will try to check out lot's of Soho and I've heard some pretty great things about Camden Market(Goth clothing ain't my style though:)) . I just noticed that Herbaliser is throwing a DJ-set in a pub/club called The Old Queens Head, tempted to check that too.
Oh yeah, good/cheap restaurants is also something we are interested, thanks for the tip, my gf is a hot chocolate fiend:D
So my gf bought me a trip to London as a birthday present. We're gonna spend 3 days there so we dont have much time. Any suggestions on something like driftstores, marketplaces or some other stuff that is hard to find in guides?

this!
Two songs in and I got to say I absolutely love this! Well done sir!
Air Guitar Nation, Cocaine Cowboys and Metal: Headbangers Journey are all very good, even if you dont have any interest in their topic. Same goes to It Might Get Loud which is a documentary about 3 guitarists (Jimmy Page, The Edge, Jack White). It's pretty funny + shows that The Edge is kinda douchey dude, haha.
Can it have some blastbeat breakdowns? Will I get extra points if I record it in a wet basement in the middle of forest?
This sounds so stupid and fun at the same time, I will try to contribute something:)

Maybe it's a subdivision of a rumor?
Haha, awesome challenge. Remember, it aint BRO enough if it doesnt have tribals and underglow lights!
Russolo handheld looks nice!
I hate when my favourite shirts lose their height when I wash them OR when they lose height AND get all wide..HNGH.
Some sort of keyboard and after sampling keyboard riffs/whatever:
..connected to Live.
