You mentioned Monotonik on chipflip, that's the oldest netlabel I know, actually.

I don't know about physical printed releases, but I'm sure there were plenty of musicdisks and that sort of thing.

A name does not justify whether your music is good or not.

Probably my greatest inspiration when it comes to writing gameboy music is the Project S-11 soundtrack. It seriously changed my perspective on writing music.

Disasterpeace
Goto80 (at least some of it is pretty mellow)
Failotron
J. Arthur Keenes
maddest kings alive
MARIE2
Mosaik (not really chip, though.)
Rico Zerone
Tree Wave
11hz Robot

I've been listening to the last recordings the last couple of days. Kinda bummed I missed this. Didn't even know about it!

Black ants. They are easier to spot and kill.

Actually, there's already a flash and java modplayer out there. haven't seen much on it and I doubt it'd get incorporated into the site.

So I'd just download songs and keep a few players handy.

Don't know about NSF or SPC and all of that. I doubt there's a flashplayer for that sort of thing.

WinAmp plugins?

It's a tough call. Both have really good songs.

I'd side with Vangelis solely on the fact he made the Bladerunner soundtrack.

The first post made this thread ugly.
