added xml feed of music section today: http://chipmusic.org/music/rss/feed.xml ... you can limit the result set by passing the gat var "limit" aka http://chipmusic.org/music/rss/feed.xml?limit=2

Either was the Evo has incredible D/A A/D and runs circles around Pioneer. Not to mention the nice OLED interface. wink Though of course it's way more expensive as well.

Help me go to Japan. I'm broke!

So guys I've been busy over the last few months which is why there hasnt been much changed around the site. I though I would share some of the work here because I thought some of you might like it. (Makers)

These are large scale art/props I've constructed for a event here in LA.

First is the resurrection of a piece a friend and I built last year but now with some change and a video. It's basically a 12' tall water tower clock thing powered by a waterpump.

Here are the build photos for the tower

Second was a 13' long telescope prop. It has a looking glass that animates a starmap to the position of the telescope with the use of a arduino and sensor electronics (accelerometers, gyro and compass)

There is a mac mini and a 7" LCD display in the tube. There were 2 4" uv reactive acrylic balls stacked and mounted in front of the display for a 3d effect. Some pulsating uv LEDS to make the projection Glow. Max/msp to gather the serial data from the arduino, and a quartz composer app running as a screen saver for the realtime 3d starmap.

Here are the build photos for the telescope

The event was at night and the videos were shot durring the day so all of the lighting etc are missing unfortunately.

I've not seen it yet, however, it sounds like a host issue, not a browser / os etc bug.

I'll try looking into it, it may mean we'd have to switch hosting providers.

Maybe I should get my ass off the couch and actually write a tutorial myself.

I would love to see one. I'm just about to start off a GB programming project myself and have only limited knowledge of assembler programming.
Btw, did you have some documents up on 8bc, the gameboygenius site, on GB programming? If so, are they up on another site these days?

http://gameboy.mongenel.com/asmschool.html

this site helped me alot when I moved into the gb asm arena.

check the optoisolator circuit. Flip the 2 wires that come from the midi jack... If that doesn't work make sure the diode is in the right way... If that doesn't work.. Check to make sure the optoisolator is hooked up right... If that doesn't work try getting a laptop and make some sexy hiphop.

Thank you for reply.
When I plugged MIDI OUT to LSDJ^MC2 I noticed that it started to flash a little red square next to EXT and TAP. Midi interface also began to shine green LED(responsible for the music signal) Only LED responsible for MIDI is not lit in my interface.
How I can set Ableton to SEND MIDI clock?? I read manual, but I could not find it. I'm really noob.

Set the [ SYNC ] button on, in the MIDI *output* port you are using in the Ableton MIDI settings.

if this is the same as the original arduinoboy, MIDI thru isn't MIDI thru... It's MIDI out for LSDJ master sync, that is, using LSDJ as the source clock. It's suppose to act as a MIDI thru for all other modes, but I've not tested that feature in the code for some time.

And sorry about the bump habbit ... haha I will stop...

Please don't bump posts. It's obnoxious and a waste of everyone's time.

Hey chaps hows it fairing ?

First day was a blast, though I spent 1/2 the day making a arduinoboy cause mine was on the fritz. Good thing they sell all the parts at the faire. Used a "midi shield"
Here are a few bad pics... I'll take better crowd shots tomorrow.

Because of all the drama and issues.

no wait, its laziness. maybe, or maybe someone else can do it. damn it I need free time with no end of work in sight.
