Do you want to play samples on a GBA? It sounds weird, ofcourse GBA have powerful ARM7TDMI RISC CPU and that Z80-clone for backward compatibility, but for sample-based tracker i like to use everything else, like SunVox tracker for iOS, or Cinemax's Rytmik for Nintendo DS.

My favourite kick drum in the Pulse channel is waveform with phase in the middle, command PD1 and on next line bass with very short release. 4-bit drum samples in the Wave channel are little bit silent for my tastes, so i use pulse channel for bd and for hihats and snares noise channel with different shape settings. And sometimes i use Waves RBass plugin (not MaxxBass!) which is harmonic enhancer for extra lowend (like DBX 120A).

If you own Acrobat full version you can create white rectangle over that text, or you can delete that page. smile

This CR1220 is VARTA? http://www.prolaika.sk/e-shop/varta-cr-1220-bat/
I have found one in digital camera shop. By the way, how many years can this battery live? For example on motherboard inside case of my computer is one similar which is 12 years old and still running.

I've started to compose chiptunes in the early 1991 on ZX Spectrum 128k+ with ACB stereo output. In Czech and Slovak republic (formerly federation) i knew personally around 20 chiptune artists. Today i don't know nobody (i am active in some music/audio forums here) and i think i am first here, who purchased DMG-01, EMS USB cartridge, LSDJ, backlight, ProSound mod etc.

This is one GREAT idea! And how is sounds? AFAIK DMG's sound chip is incorporated into that Sharp-modified Z80 CPU.

Edit: sorry i missed last posts, so it is CPU at same rate, not faster variant like have Color GB?

and those who use soft plugins or trackers with emulated engines, including one-cycle samples from waveforms are generating fakechip music smile chip means that music is produced by real hardware soundchip imho.

For me the most important releases are musicdisks Disk and Appelsap from Mellow D alias md/kschzt.

I am pretty surprised that many people like Aphex's SAW II, it is really great ambient album and very good also for reading scifi/cyberpunk books which i do nowadays very often.
