Bosch, Hieronymus
His work is pretty gruesome, especially his various triptychs... also kinda creepy, but I like it... which is odd cause I am not usually a big fan of a lot of the religious renaissance art.

ive been impressed with the cheap korg analogue stuff. limited save capability but you can sync from the GB easily sending a click from the noise channel.
I like to send the click to sync signal to the monotribe then out to my volca beats.
hahaha, with $200, you could buy all the Monotrons and just have a good laugh playing around with them. I know I have.
If you're looking for something you can do some serious programming with, then I recommend you save up another $300 for a Monome (http://monome.org/devices/). The site advertises them as more of a minimalist thing, but even if you aren't into the whole minimalist scene they can be pretty powerful. Regardless, these things are very cool and the people who make them will charge little to nothing for repairs if anything happens to it so its a guaranteed win if you're willin' to shell out the big bucks.
Here is a link to a blog detailing some of the basic info on setting up the tool and using it (it includes the download link): http://blog.gg8.se/wordpress/2013/02/19 -graphics/
Personally, I haven't had time to mess around with using it, but I will probably get around to it when my schedule frees up a little.
lol, sounds interesting. I got Oberdöbling; this is gonna one ****ing awesome sounding song now.
Gotta love Fez... even though Phil Fish turned out to be a complete a******, the soundtrack by Disasterpeace (Rich Vreeland) is pure bliss.
uuuuugghhhhh... -.- such pointless squabbling. Genre shouldn't really matter. The fact that you have to label your music as this or that means that you're confining your view of yourself and your music to what others have been and are doing. Musicianship--the skillfull composition and execution of your music--is what really should matter. Make music to make music; what other people have to say is irrelevant so long as you derive enjoyment from your music.
BLUF: Here, the word of the mod is the word of god.
Kitsch is a sensible guy and genuinely cares for the well being of the site. If he has asked you not to do something, then you should listen. He gave you a warning, which should be a clear indication to refrain from doing anything that could further incriminate you. Because you didn't listen and proceeded on your merry way, this is the result. I am sorry if you don't like that some places on the internet enforce their rules; that's just how it is here. As I haven't seen you around very much, I would go so far as to say that you lack the understanding of what a moderator does and how his position must require him to take such actions. Your best course of action now is to apologize and save some face, because you're making a right fool of yourself right now.
^^^^^ What he said.
You could also try searching around for patchbooks. Here is one: http://ucollective.org/patches/lsdj/
There are a few others floating around that I can't remember off the top of my head, but this is a great resource to help you get started. I wish more people would use it.
I am sorry for your loss. He sounds like he was really special to you. Don't let him leave in your heart and memory, for no one is ever truly gone until they are forgotten.
damn... if only it wasn't the weekend of the Army-Navy game -_-
Wow.... Honestly, these kinds of people piss me off. If he wanted to have a chance of getting away with something like this, he could have picked smaller name artists to rip-off. This whole fiasco kind of reminds me of this: http://chipmusic.org/forums/topic/4272/ chipt00ns/
I have used Dreamhost and been content with it. As Kitsch said earlier, it has its set backs, but who doesn't?... If you do end up going with Dreamhost, here is a pretty sweet deal you don't want to miss: http://kotaku.com/get-a-domain-name-and 1465102538
There are already plenty of Guitar to MIDI devices out there. For example, though its a bit pricey, I have heard good things about using one of Roland's GK-3 pickups with the GI-20 MIDI interface. As was pointed out by fffrobsm, you could then link it to an arduinoboy and then to the Gameboy. Not too difficult... Hoever, you could forego the traditional guitar completely and use a Guitar-like MIDI controller. I would recommend something along the lines of this if you can find one around: http://misa-digital.myshopify.com/products/kitara)
