this is a very cool project. the wiki is a bit sparse, but i learned something. i had no idea there was a c compiler for the NES or a set of c libs for NES dev. very cool. thanx for posting!
I think it'd be ideal for anyone using LSDJ and MGB or LSDJ and shitwave (or LSDJ and MuddyGB) LSDJ would make use of the RAM, while the other program wouldn't touch it. Just cuts down on the number of carts you'd need to buy for a live setup.
what kris said (though i also have 8cylinder's programs on there, along with nanovoice)
yeah me too. LSDj has the sav. but i also have: nanovoice, nanosynth, pounder, deathray, and shitwave all on the 2nd screen of the cart, and it's no harm no foul, since none of those roms have the ability to save.
but yeah, Reed Ghazala's book is great. he's even got diagrams of simple electronic tasks like wire twistings, simple soldering, soldering to existing pins/pots, bridges... etc, etc, etc... i learning A LOT from the book.
I hope Mutecity will work his magic on this one!! Would be great to see this on a gray cart too..lol
i will be putting mine in a gold case ;D (i have a dead zelda cart)

The only sticking point for me seems to be the obvious one: how to get your song files off the cart?
i think simply recording the audio playback directly from the hardware would be acceptable. and it will sound awesome with low-gain's NESmod.
as for NSF export, that would be great, but it sounds like this would be an emulator only function...
nanoloop 1.5 has a new export feature

data exchange, backup
...it is possible to encode data as audio pulses for backup on a PC. Data are sent through a regular audio cable then and can be archived as audio recordings. To send data back to the nanoloop cart, an adaptor for connecting the PC's audio output to the Game Boy's link port is required...
Download the HVSC, Download the ASMA Collection, download Keygen Music... hear your roots, see where it came from, and stop pretending this started in 2006.
^ ^ ^ ^ ^ actually i hate thin black borders on pixel tattoos. plus the angles makes the pixelation look bad. i like the content, but not the execution.
