handrawn waves gm soundfonts and vsts all mixed up together in renoise

you don't absolutely know that the person who uploaded your music on YouTube is a 'he'. sure maybe the YouTube account name may have a masculine bent to it, but for all we really know it could be some twisted lady pretending to be a man. or even worse, the kind of crazy ladies who drown their kids in the tub while the husband is at work.
I wouldn't have bothered contacting about your songs, you just never know who you're really dealing with.

It seems to be working out just fine.

Dude, I accidentally ripped off your persona. Sorry sad  I didn't do it on purpose.

It's okay, chances are I accidentally ripped off the same persona:D

maybe a good new name for your music project woukd be squareheart. or maybe something like chipNdare. I like chipNdare because it's like chip and dale but instead of dale it's dare because the music you'll present to your listeners will be daring.
maybe Battery Pimp is a good name too.

Incidentally, why is it that so many chip musicians seem to have an aversion to the traditional full-length album? Most of the chip "albums" in my collection are 4-7 tracks long.

I've seen the same thing in the netlabel scene.
I like to make believe that they have done me a favor and included just the super special tracks.
I think that either it feels more natural for them to release smaller batches of songs at a time or they just feel it's the best way to maintain a creative presence by being able to frequently promote something new, or both I guess.

it would be delightful if nice looking chipmusic fans made video blogs too. talking about their views, hopes and pet peeves of all things chip.  They might even respond to their youtube comments. Maybe they don't have to be nice looking, just thick skinned.
