If you export it to wave you can load the file into something like Mixmeister BPM Analyzer to calculate the BPM. I believe it is actually more accurate with an mp3 file, but you can try both and see what you get. It works quite well in the vast majority of times I've used it, even to the 100th decimal place.

It would be nice of more people did that, regardless of their right not to. Ultimately it's the devs decision, but that doesn't mean one cannot hope/wish that developers would pass on their abandoned projects :\ The fact that the developer is not obligated to share is what makes sharing so nice when it happens. Not saying they are stingy for not sharing, just saying they are lovely for sharing.
