Re: MidiNES samples list? (13 replies, posted in Nintendo Consoles)
http://wayfar.net/0xf00000_manual.php#audio_dmc not a list but a little bit more of what to expect. I sampled all of bank one to my drum machine, bank two is pretty weak.

Glad I noticed there was a new page. Was just about to reply with the same comment.
Personally, I would wait for the M01D as you can now save to the SD card on the 3DS. I have the cart but I will definitely be getting the M01D just for this (well and the convenience of having it always on my DS). Plus you can exchange songs via wifi.
dont forget the midi export, if you can swap midi out you can probably swap it in.

I used to have two of the monotron regular versions. They are difficult to make 'good' use of. The delay version is where its at.
+1 but the delays signal is quite noisy, so yeah perfect for your micro-music needs.

Just wear clothes that kind of match. No brand names advertisment...because no big box corp ever helped us score a reliable lsdj cart. maybe a ups hat... assless chaps?
If they had asses in them they would just be leather pants with tassels. On a side note i own a pair, those bad boys totally scored me my wife. Assless chaps might be a good chip fashion centerpiece, its bout time we take the statement back from them country folk.

Have all your gear stolen at once! Convenient!
i did laugh.
But thats are pretty slick case, i was going to suggest the pedal case myself. i have one that fits my drum machine perfectly, its a soft bag but it gets the job done. Not really an all in one road case though, and now i wont stop thinking about it. damnit

I would allocate the funds to something more dope then spending the money on the vinyl. You dont want to end up with a bulk order of records your still pushing due to the niche market.

Re: Does anybody use electribes? (34 replies, posted in Other Hardware)
Alright, I think I'm set on getting an ESX-1. I just wanted to come here and see if anybody had complaints about them or knew of any better alternatives. I did look at the mc-303 and it looks useful but I think I could use an electribe better. I'm hoping that I can get one used for a little cheaper than normal...
get the sd, the esx-1 uses smart media, the sd version supports a 32 gig card. Youll want the extra storage and the new patterns/samples are really good.
I mine, try making your own single cycle waveforms, classic sampler sounds.

i had a teacher that blabbed about how the easiest thing on the eyes is a black background with a yellow text, using a font without the fancy edges. Buuuut im not saying that is fact, though i do find it helps.
