I preordered X. I havent played a pokemon game since blue and this game just looked good. 3DS was easily my best recent purchase.

Been listening to this for a while on soundcloud. Great stuff. Keep em coming

Just a quick inspection but that seems correct (except for midi out, I don't recall how that's wired as I typically just do midi in). Make sure you have the code loaded correctly and that you have the right type of button. It looks like its almost just cycling through each mode.

I was also going to say, I believe they should all light up once you power it, Regardless of your switch. Check the lines coming from the link cable

Also, no CC control on it.

My buddy got one and promptly brought it over for a jam session. Did not work. Very disappointing.

Wow really? I remember him stating that he wanted to incorporate as many CCs as possible and had been taking suggestions here: http://chipmusic.org/forums/topic/4154/ … r-campaign

i really liked the parts of the discussion that connected the technical know-how with the artist's writing process.  i'm more interested in questions like "why did you decide to write this part in this way instead of in another way?" or "how did your vision/goals for this song inform the musical techniques that you used?"  those are the kinds of questions that really give you an insight into what the artist is about, and can even give the show a broad universal appeal.

this was the best part of the video IMO. There were some interesting things that i picked up but discussing the reasoning for your choices in the song is really what will keep me coming back.

What, no love for mechanical engineers? I do engineering analysis work for nuclear plants to keep them up and running.
