its also not something that has always been there...got put in place a while back because there were a lot of new members bumping old threads with one-word posts and nonsense like that

yeah, probably best to get the mackie posted above with that combination, though you'd want a d/i box for the guitar/bass stuff

Also what is your budget? Any what are the devices, a mix of guitars, vocals, gameboys or ten synths? Assuming it is a mixed bag of things and you have the budget, get one of these

its 270 bucks with free shipping on Amazon, it has 4 mono and 4 stereo inputs as well as a tape input and 2 stereo returns. It is built like an absolute tank and sounds great.

Also regarding the converter, just buy a 10 dollar cable with RCA on one end and 1/4 inch on the other, it will give you access you a MUCH better range of mixers than limiting yourself to RCA out.

you don't need the conveter if you hook it to the tape out

for what its worth, im working on some stuff thats just my bent yamaha rx-17 through a big muff pi pedal & kp mini... controlled with piggy->midi, like i tend to do.. some of the datathrash guys have heard parts

its fun to use every once in a while, i suppose... put out 4-5 tracks that used it between 2004-2007, seems most fun if you're running it through multiple effects at once since it is pretty limited on its own.. make some lofi gabber, noise or acid

mixing is too poor to get past and really evaluate the rest... the instuments are very muffled, and vocals are way too high in the mix

may  not have all been the same staff member... last one i did was making note of that new rule

even if they were both effects processors only, i think you'd find that most people wouldnt mind having 2-3 different ones in their setup anyway

nikaena vizukae &  corset lore
are the two i dont spot that pop to mind
did people skip computeher & leeni too? not going back to check

edit: daisy

buy usb midi interfaces/cables for each, you can find cheap ones for less than $10 a piece... may also need a midi coupler since both will likely have male midi din connectors

I don't know what kind of setup you are running, but typically most mixer have both Main signal out and headphone out, I would route the headphone signal out into my PC's audio input jack and record via Audacity.

they also usually have a tape out, which is a much better choice
