"HEIL" should have been in quotes when you were smugly correcting my early morning spelling, but yeah.

I just couldn't help thinking of frozen pigs falling from the sky.

ouch. i was just joking around but whatever

I think we all were, don't be hurt.

The beauty of electronic music is you can mix it and remix it and re-remix it to no end. It can sound different every time. Just because you are "tracking" doesn't mean your song has to be set in stone the moment you release it.

Curious what features you use live?

So far the only live performing I've done is my DSi with KORG DS10+ with a straight line out, and DJing with my laptop that has an audio interface. I've never used a mixer before. But I do have a Bitrman (distortion pedal) and I would like to get some more equipment like a Kaossilator Pro, and I want to be able to hook up at least 2 or 3 DSi's since I have multiple copies of KORG DS10+. I think I could also route my laptop in to use Ableton Live.

Anyway from the sounds of it, the 802 is the way to go.

I've been looking at these two mixers and I think one of these would be perfect for me but I can't tell which is better. The ProFX8 has USB connectivity and onboard effects but there is only one master external effects send and I've read that the USB & included effects are just so-so. The 802 has individual sends per channel but is pure analogue. Help!

There's a reason people will pay for black DMGs rather than trying to dye some other color to be black.

I'm still hoping I'll get a chance to work on something... maybe by this weekend.

Thanks! lol
I'm sure I'll be back with a few more tedious questions before game time, if I know myself at all... hah.

Yeah I was gonna mention, to add to my last comment... don't try to be funny if you're not. "Cracking jokes" is just an example, no one expects you to be funny so don't do it unless you know it can work. Just saying "hello I'm XYZ" and "this next song is called ABC" is good enough smile

I always enjoy stage chatter, like seriously, gapless sets are cool, but i like nothing better than some good stage talk.

I think the audience can connect with you a bit better if you talk to them. Even if you have the ability to play gapless, it might still be a good idea to crack a joke here and there.

I love Duck Sauce and I have some of their stuff but their music doesn't have enough duck sounds.
