Maybe we should get Johan to make a list of the commands in order of how much CPU they drain ...so people can optimize their songs for the DMG-01 or whatever they're running.

what an incredible lineup.
btw..
MR SPASTIC. OH MAH GOODNESS. /me will go totally nuts if he plays Notebook.

you don't need to download anything, really, just go to chat.mibbit.com, choose Esper as the server, #chipmusic as the channel, and give yourself a nickname.

got it, love it. i think it's way more of an experience when you couple it with the visual aspect. (chip visualists, anyone want to try and recreate this in a live setting? please? )  smile

eating - Supermac NYC. best mac and cheese in all existence, all kinds of gourmet variations, etc. don't get a large unless you're an eating champion, the smaller size will fill you up no problem if you're a normal human being.

As soon as I saw this i was like wait...are they talking about binaural beats? i mean, i've never heard of anyone TRIPPING on those, but I was aware of their supposed effects on different brainwaves. I've tried before and felt a bit more relaxed, but it could have been the same thing as listening to white noise. Who knows.
This article makes it sound like some dumbass packaged the idea of binaural beats with HIP COOL DRUG-RELATED NAMES to sell it to impressionable youth, and when the parents found out, they over-reacted.

Thanks man! Much appreciated!
Anyone interested in downloading that track, or the one Chromix performed that night, can find them at

holy mother of fun. what a night. da pantz put on an excellent set, peter swimm absolutely killed, neil voss made us all lose our minds and dance like assholes, and void vision brought the fun (and had some excellent backup dancers too might i add).  This was my 2nd 8static, and I have to say if they continue being this amazing I'll definitely continue to show up.

OH, and how cool was the reverse stream? Bit Shifter, Chipocrite, and Natty projected onto the wall at 8static! SURREAL.

Good performance guys...but they cut you off in the middle of the song with an ad for a water softener. sighh.

A+++ Imagery, Would Fantasize About Again!!!!!

Also definitely enjoying this record.

i like lazerbeat's idea, but what if there was a way to spread the controls over two controllers? would that make it any easier?
