i love this. what won me over was going down a pipe as Samus and hearing the Kraid music. This is so well thought-out.

Sorry if I seem stupid but what does the ArduinoBoys do?

allows for midi syncing of a game boy running lsdj/nanoloop to another midi device and also full midi control via mgb.

an open mic, you say? ...hm....also definitely interested in a flyer. i'll see you there!

Logan!

You should be stoked to see so many cTrix shows! That man is the best chipmusician you will ever see and I honestly mean it. The new stuff of his I have heard recently was even better than the stuff he has online. OFF THE FUCKING CHAIN.

yeah... he's my reason for basically quitting chip music. hahaha

he's the reason i'm trying to use grooves in lsdj.

heima, the sigur ros documentary/concert dvd is really gorgeous, highly recommended. i've also been trying to see food, inc. for a while. check that out too!

Heima is AMAZING. Really a beautiful film.

I liked Word Wars, it's about competitive Scrabble players. A little weird but definitely interesting.
You could also just browse Hulu, they have a ton of documentaries on there to watch for free and occasionally you get a good one.

It should be noted that in cases where the USB jack is built into the cartridge, a Mega Memory Cart can still be used to transfer the sav file from another non-usb cart (ems, non-usb bleepbloop cart) over to the cart with the USB jack and backed up to a computer from there. So, in effect, these carts can be used almost like a transferrer but with a few more steps involved.

A few things:
Best open mic ever or BEST OPEN MIC EVER???

8bitbetty is as hardcore as we want him to be. Possibly my favorite set of his I've seen.
Balun make beautiful beautiful music. More bands need accordions and violins.
AGM has some of the most amazing stage moves ever (and covered bit shifter like a champ).  ALSO he is the master of nanolooping- I seriously couldn't believe half of what i was hearing.

And those cupcakes were pretty awesome too. #cnbftw!

I'm confused. Does this allow your old transposes in noise channel tables from songs written on versions prior to 3.9.e to work as they used to without being translated into S commands, or no?

And yes, PSP MIDI would be sweet. I'd love to get LGPT playing nicely with my TR707.....

Definitely.  I'd love to get MIDI out on my PSP as well. If the PSP to MIDI circuit is basically the same as the GP2x to MIDI circuit, I'd love to try building one.

i just hope none of the performers got burnt buying transportation to the show..

Exactly what just went through my head.

I had my arduinoboy working earlier today (finally!) but something's gone wrong and now the LEDs keep cycling the same way they do when you first power on the DMG.  (Mine is using the 5V power from the DMG). The full startup cycle happens then they blink and start over. I'm not sure what this means, exactly.  Which part of the circuit is broken?  I figured it might be the one relating to the pushbutton switch, but I've checked my work and can't figure it out.

Anyone have any insight as to what might be causing this?
