I agree with Wizwars - someone who's never used LSDJ before will likely not find lsdsng swap too useful - I think it's best used by those who have written at least one song, understand the program, and are looking to try out new techniques and expand their palette of textures and effects. Part of the appeal for me is seeing a song I've listened to before on there and then picking apart its elements. For instance, those Natty and JAK tracks are both going to be fun to analyze since I'm familiar with them already.

I want to hear some Failotron slowed down 800%.

You could make videos for chip artists - I'm sure the After Effects skills will come in handy there. Either that or start a web series explaining different aspects of the chip scene, different hardware, the demoscene, etc etc.
That's all I can think of, I'm not quite awake.

At a chiptune show, you can hear all of your favorite videogame themes and rock out to them. But, you know, it's ok, because they "mix them in a DJ".

Might as well see if it works...but hey, if not, theres always the possibility of just replacing that part. that's the bottom screen right? that one's WAY easier than the top screen to replace. dealextreme has them for cheap.

That quick white flashing behavior is also what happens when one of the ribbon cables isn't connected properly, if i remember correctly. So its possible something got jostled out of place or ripped, or your top screen module died. (or bottom, possibly). Maybe open it up and check the ribbon cables?

Oh what a night.

The double booking actually worked out OK, except that the time crunch meant I had to leave before Chipocrite and Animal Style sad  I did really enjoy Ro-Bear's set though ...and some of those electronic bands weren't too bad! Awesome seeing the Philly crew (Joey rules for being the de facto 2nd soundguy of the night and letting us use his PA), IAYD,  Batsly Adams, and meeting I, Cactus for the first time.  Also thanks to NYC for coming out in a big way as well, you guys are awesome. Thanks to CNB for turning a less than optimal situation into a damn good time.

TONIGHT! It's gonna be a great time.  Seriously excited to open for these amazing acts!!!
