just dont over think these things. jeez no one is paying to see a performing monkey. basically you try too hard and dance like a knob then of course you look like a knob. but you stand like a shy cardboard cut out and its pretty boring. Myself i dont really give a shit what people think when they look at me play, im pretty busy juggling between playing synths banging the mpc blah blah, so if people are like 'he doesnt interact with the crowd much' id say to them its cos im fucking busy keeping track of what im playing and thinking ahead 2 minutes at all times toget the next synth sounds/drum ready and transition to the next track. id rather see a seamless live show rather than someone stopping and chatting drunken shit into the mic between songs.but thats just me i guess. basically what im saying is concentrate on making the show decent 'sound wise', this is more important id say than wearing a cool t shirt or getting people to put their hands in the air.but for sure its good to have a few drinks first so you can happily shout into a mic for people to make some fucking noise every now and again. that does help.

you sir as i say always are a brilliant songwriter. this is beautiful, concise and just great. i just got back to shanghai from the beach in thailand.....this is soothing my brain as i get stoned. bravo sir. i love it.

i slap my cock on the keyboard. usually it plays back some gnarly math rock chord progressions. and that my friends is how you rock out with yo cock out innit.

also this "i myself just put in somthing random then tweak it untill i like it" is worthy of a facepalm whether you asked or not.

i spent 2 years making farewell static. but in those 2 years i made probably 150 songs and tweaked and mastered the ones i deemed best fit for an album. then i mastered it (never master your own shit because you ll end up hating it). all in all about 2 years, maybe 2 and a half.
Too fucking long.
So this year i have made an 8 track ep im getting mastered right now.
whilst simultaneously working on a collab ep with a fellow producer thats almost finished too.
And now im finishing off a cassette release that will be released in winter.

definately agree with Zan zan about not over cooking your ideas. and also dont sit on tunes for 2 years, when it comes to the release i was almost bored shitless of them and they'd lost a sort of relevance to the stuff im making presently.

ive read that alot of my favourite records were made in like a month from start to finish. sometime you wait like 7 years for a record (ala airdrawndagger by sasha from years ago) and its an anticlimax haha
