My mom showed up to one of my gigs one time, that was pretty cool.
Despite saying my Game Boy music "drives her up the wall" she still brags to everyone she meets and gives them my bandcamp page to listen to my stuff.

My dad seems kind of indifferent to what I do.

In the past couple weeks: mainly just Mega Man 1-6 when I'm bored on the bus, Katawa Shoujo, and Steins;Gate 8-bit.

Maybe have separate audio jack(s) (in the cart itself?) for the FM chip.
It'd make mixing easier, but playing live would be more difficult...

You should mention what software you're using.
In any case, Audacity is a very fine tool. It's also free, in both senses of the word.

It's not that uncommon I guess.
I used to do commission songs for a guy who would sing over them at karaoke places or something.
Also, email'd wink

There was a picture on 8bc where someone scanned a DMG. It was like, mega hidef, like 4000x4000px full clarity.

I have a guitar recital tomorrow night sad

Back in '09 8bc had a VentFest, where we played for each other over Ventrillo. It was pretty fun.
We should organize something like that (maybe with webcams?).
Anyone else down? smile

I don't have any web design software at the moment, so that's the main thing that's been holding me back.

/usr/bin/nano + a web browser.

Demoscene was open since it's beginning, because If there was e.g. some track realised, It was realised in Tracker file format (not audio, mp3), so anyone have to open it in tracker to play it, thus anyone have it's source. I think.

to iLKke: I want new gameboy DMG games! is there anyone working on something?

Music is actually only a small part of demoscene, so to say demoscene was open since it's beginning would be a bit exaggerating.

You know, software can be open too wink
