Worse.

I'm quite fond of SDI to be honest. Best native c64 tracker IMO.
I don't think he means a gimmic but rather Mr. Gimmick.
Click the link.
It's what you get when using 4bit samples. No way around it I'm afraid.
:edit
Nordloef beat me to it.
At first this sounded fun but the restraints are too big for me.
What about the recording medium, are you allowed to record on to digital medium or is it reel-to-reel/tape only?
If using DAW is allowed, what about EQ and dynamic processing? Outboard analogue only?
And no rock n roll!?
I read some where that it will be available for about $67 in may.
CZ101 OUT -> Edirol IN
Edirol OUT -> FB01 IN
FB01 THRU -> CZ101 IN
This configuration will let you use both the Edirol and CZ101 as controllers but it might require you to have your computer up and running if the Edirol doesn't allow an IN->OUT throughput when powered off. You will possibly also have to configure a throughput in Renoise if this option isn't available in your Edirol settings. If such a setting isn't available in Renoise either (this would surprise me though), fix it with http://www.midiox.com/ .
You should set up the Edirol and Casio to send on different midi channels and the Casio and Yamaha to receive on different ones as well.
Let us know if it works out.

Why though? Isnt mssiah the same thing with midi? I guess the value of midi doesnt really appeal to me, but mssiah seems highly sough after.
Haven't tried mssiah, but I imagine that it is. I suppose people just want the latest.
@herr_prof I might try that approach.

I recommend using 20W rather than 40.
So awesome! Very impressive!
Again, it's all math. If your "main" groove is 8 ticks/16th note, a triplet 8th note should be 10 and 2/3 ticks long. One way of achieving this is to use grooves like this:
MAIN GROOVE
8
8
-
8T GROOVE
C
D
D
-
16T GROOVE
5
5
6
-
I think it's really nice. I would skip the t.bread in the top left corner altogether though. It looks crammed.
It's a hardware issue of the DMG it self. Maybe you can try to shape your noise instruments with the 'S' command instead and see if that runs smoother.
But I love the Game Boy material and I plead, nay, I beseech, that you do not renounce the DMG!
Word!
