LSDJ a la mode?

delicious

+1, KiGB works great for me, it sounds remarkably similar to an actual gameboy.

I've heard BGB is good as well

much more laid back than your previous release, i'm enjoying the mellow vibe. Wow, I'm absolutely loving this. The percussion, the recording technique, the melancholy vocals and melodies. Reminds me a bit of Girls, especially the song "Okay". You've outdone yourself with this one

Fantastic, fantastic work

well did it work?

No, we are all still hungry and poor and alone. sad

damn. a nice hot fresh computer sandwich would really hit the spot right now

i just noodle around in various channels until i find something that i like. then i'll transpose it to find a good chord progression, then i'll make variations, and then i'll build the song from there

I honestly don't care what anyone else thinks about my music. I just write music. A few people are like, "yo dis is the shit bro" , and I'm just thinking, "well this is a peice of shit, but whatever you say bro". I really wish I could write not-shit music, but I don't. I don't really even care though, I mean it's fun either way.

this just makes me depressed

have you listened to Cosecant recently? It's the best bro.

'Tis. This man is a sunvox genius.

I don't really think promotion is very necessary in the chip scene, but if people want to share like...previews of their albums ( the little highlight snippets of each song strung together), i'm generally not opposed to it.

Just post it in the music section of this site or on soundcloud or something.

edit: soundcloud not souncloud

Aw man, I missed this.

there were a lot of awkward pauses while the audience took breaks and stuff (it was soooo hot and humid). twas fun tho.

I really want to organize a webshow soon...before august is over definitely.

edit: I mean like a real, good ol' chipmusic webshow. Not a concert in my basement that I live streamed

"well people do way better than me without even trying, what am i accomplishing here"

What you're accomplishing is creating music that's your own, part of your identity, even your legacy (no matter the size). I, for one, KNOW there are maaaany artists out there that are better than me, as is the case for most people, but you just kind of have to put that aside and enjoy your own work, and be proud that you created something. Something really cool. Muzaks. I mean it's always good to push yourself and get ideas and inspiration, but don't bog yourself down comparing yourself to others

Your music is yours.
Their music is theirs.

I reckon this should be stickied - most Mac users would be fools not to use this in place of a virtual machine!

as soon as you published this tutorial, i threw out my virtual machine and started using terminal. Soooo much easier and less fucked up now. thanks so much for explaining this stuff cuz when i first got my ems cart, i tried lib_usb and just got overwhelmed. It was mostly the installation process that threw me off.

anyway THANX
