Necrobump, I still think is an interesting thread.
Just played Peekan, on a huge "120 games" cart. and Peekan still had the chicks chirping sample.
You're a chicken and have to resue chicks by laying eggs, I had never heard of it.
EDIT: And Boxxle 2 AKA Sokoban 2. There is a victory "yeah". I've only heard it once because I got my ass handed to me in level 2.

How many people have suggested ponies, unicorns and the word Chip?
It has been said many times, but between the lines.

I"m looking into DMG plantlife, M-.-N, Chantal Goret and Lo-bat. 4 Belgians I didn't know existed because they kind of stopped / switched before I got into music outside of breakcore until Sycamore's spreadsheet came up
Lo-Bat seems to have stopped. Marc is twittering from Berlin. Plantlife had an arthouse show a few years ago but is non-activE. Chantal Goret not a clue

Holy fuck.
I have found a cable that worked, after like, 7.
I have no idea what's going on, I thougth it wasn't any generation or length issue, cuz I had tried everything.
I must have overlooked some things in my chaos / panic.
I feel like Tm Cruise in mission impossible right now, after getting the cart found by my pc I'm so afraid to do anything wrong and break it, I'm shaking and sweating .
Thansk for bearing with me

Re: Drag'n'Derp: the gameboy cart to end all gameboy carts (705 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
My cart is here!
Problem: Computer doesn't find the cart. I've got 10 usb ports, none work.
I plug it in, and the cart blinks once. After that, nothing.
it doesn't show up anywhere. not in "My computer" not in the plugged in devices in configuration, and not in the list with devices for safe unplugging.
Plugging the usb-cable in pushes the electronic board back into the plastic casing.
While unplugging, the board comes back a little, so might it be bad contact?
Edit: when shaken, it doesn't rattle, and doesn't move, it's just follows the movement of the cable.

Not sure if sarcasm,...
Sorry for hijacking your thread, my mind really wandered off there.
But the "the kits are too silent" is a common complaint.
Put two identical samples together to make them louder. They become more noisy, but that doesn't bother me, and most of time your music will cover it up anyway.
Or make your own 606 or 303 kit, but louder.

I kind wish someone would do a remaster of all the stock kits... they really are quiet for no reason!
I don't have the time to remake kits.
But I think it's a good idea (yeah, I think my idea was good, sounds crazy but bear with me) that someone would remake some kits with the help of little-scale's guide. Make them louder and upload them to http://lsdsng.com,
Maybe send them to Johan K. as well?
