i had one for a while, i just recently sold it. it was fine, i never had any problems with it. i think it had ver.1.6.3 on it, and it worked perfectly.

yeah, but those are usually pcb-mounted, so they're hard to solder to, and there aren't any mounting threads on the jack itself.
