Listening to it right now. It's really cool! There is some serious acid vibe in it.

Yeah it's pretty cool and supportive community. And I wish you good luck with your new job!

The music as you might know has to be a .mod file and size is an issue for the Gameboy Classic.

You want to make your game for the gameboy, and it seems that you need a .mod file for your game. Then I guess you plan to use gbt-player in your game engine.

The AAA game Last of Us has such a iconic soundtrack and the Gameboy is a 4 channel tin-can and what I've heard some of the artists here do with it is impressive, so where do I begin or find help?

Gbt-player is quite cool but with this tool you will never have the impressive sounds some people make with LSDJ or Nanoloop.

And even if it was possible, I don't think it would be a good idea, because in a video game you'll need 1 of the 4 channels for sound effects. And as jefftheworld said, complex music that can be made with LSDJ use a lot of the processing power of the gameboy, and it would be difficult to have a playable game. (and a good proportion of the cool gameboy stuff you can hear in the chipmusic community is quite heavily mastered, you won't be able to have this exact sound on a gameboy)

If you have no really good reason to create your game for the gameboy, I would advise to make your game for PC (with a limited color palette and resolution if you want), and use some recordings of LSDJ/Nanoloop or anything you like for the soundtrack.

I just checked I only have some old M4G tracker roms. Maybe you could ask to 4ormal or the laohu. It seems that they used to have a copy: https://chipmusic.org/forums/topic/177/ … e/page/30/

By the way, if you find a way to have the rom, could you please upload it somewhere and share it? I'm always sad when some old software disappear.

Thanks tmt ! And thanks again for showing me that nanovoice is a super cool tool.

Wow this is really really really nice (really).

Thanks irrlichtproject. I'm quite happy with the sounds I've worked on for this album, and it's cool to see people enjoying it.

This release is really really nice. I don't understand how it can be written in a week but I don't care, the music is cool.

It's quite cool! What did you use for the kick ?

I'm happy that it helps. Have fun with your setup.

Nanoloop mono is my favorite nanoloop version, I hope you enjoy it!

You could try the solution Orgia Mode gave.
