I tried it yesterday. This thing is really easy to use, and the instrument editor/synth is quite cool. And it works perfectly on dosbox. I may try to use it someday.

my.Explosion is right. You have to give some space to the things you want to be punchy.
You can play with volume (down) of your different sounds/instruments/chans, EQ and compression.

Do you have a reason to use arduinoboy?

For an hybrid LSDJ-other-electronic-things, the simple way is to use sync (analog or midi sync). It's simple and it works well. You can find more infos in the 6.2 and 6.3 parts of the lsdj manual:

Thanks a lot!
The artwork is an old illustration from an XIXth century book I found on archive.org. It's public domain (so you can use it if you like it).

I'm working on my next album, I hope you'll enjoy it!

Thanks!
Volcas are pretty cool. They are not very expensive, they can produce some cool little sounds, and it's easy to sync them with nanoloop.

Less impressive that the last setup showed here.

There is also a midi keyboard not show on the picture.

If you plan to use nanoloop mono, you should look for a DMG. For everything else, gameboy pocket is fine with some EQ and denoise/notch filter, imho.

Woah, I really like it. There is some serious bass in there. It makes me want to use nanovoice for my next release.
Good job!

thanks. remember ballsy EQ when you do

I tried Nanovoice + ballsy EQ today.
It's super fun and great to use.

Thanks a lot for making me discover some new tools.

Hello and welcome! (and don't worry for your english)
I do not know very well LSDJ but here is the manual: https://www.littlesounddj.com/lsd/lates … _6_1_5.pdf
I'm pretty sure there is a lot of tutorials, and some youtube videos about using LSDJ.

Why do people think the scene is dead ?
I just had a look on bandcamp. The tags chiptune are chipmusic are showing quite a lot of activity.

It may not be mainstream, and there is little coverage of albums releases, but people seems to enjoy producing and listening to music.

This release is great and I want it.

Super cool!
It's really nice to have the audio preview and midi transfer. Awesome job. Thanks a lot!

It's pretty cool, I really like it.

btw, nice to see someone using AROS!
