also, please use the bbcode to embed your videos, either [ youtube ] or [ vimeo ] (without the spaces), then you only need the part after either youtube.com or vimeo.com inside the brackets... make it easier for people to see your stuff, i've done it for everything posted so far

Re: Clip From One of My Shows (1 replies, posted in General Discussion)
closing this, since you did post it where it belongs also (live footage exchange thread in motion graphics)...in the future, please don't post the same content in multiple places on the site (though if there had been a past gigs thread for this show, it would be ok to post both in there and the live footage thread).. and video always belongs in motion graphics, not general discussion
ink to your post there (which i switched to an embeded video for you.. everyone should embed videos here, not give url links)

Re: Possible solutions to increasing noise to signal ratio. (40 replies, posted in Bugs and Requests)
1 - A couple of extra mods and a slightly more hands on mod approach
2 - A couple of extra rules about content light threads.
3 - Brys awesome new members please read this type thing.
4 - An opt in area for off topic content.
wouldn't stricter enforcement of rules make off topic stuff mostly a thing of the past anyway?

did you miss my previous post? i've been playing diablo III more than paying attention to this site since i got back from new york... i know a bunch of the other guys are pretty busy as well, though with better reasons (fatherhood, etc).. so like i said, expect me to be more active at least... anticipating the first time someone freaks out at me for closing a thread soon (its been a few months)...

Re: Possible solutions to increasing noise to signal ratio. (40 replies, posted in Bugs and Requests)
we have a statement in the rues that already allows for threads to be closed and/or removed at the staff's discretion so probably no new rues needed, unless we add something about release hype threads...

Re: PRICE CHECK? Commodore 64 + Stuff (10 replies, posted in Commodore Computers)
hard to say what a fair price is on the datasettes, since they aren't tested...generally have seen c64's tested, working and clean for around $50-65, with the crack in yours probably falls in the lower range.. despite the other prices being low as hell in louisiana, $10 is right or even a little high on the atari joystick, that store probably just doesn't get a ton of them at this point (i've seen them pretty often for about $5-8).. intro to basic book should be worth approx $10 as well...i could see the whole thing as a package (including untested datasettes) run around $85-90
