I hope the server comes back up soon enough. This sounds very difficult but fun

I'm glad to see that Victor (Love through Cannibalism) had his artwork mentioned in the first post, he is the one that sparked my love for glitch art

Re: [removed] (52 replies, posted in General Discussion)
Here are some of my favorites♥
Legend of Zelda [Series]
Soul Calibur [Series]
Skuljagger: Revolt of the Westicans [SNES]
Darius Twin [SNES]
Megaman X [SNES]
Minecraft [PC]
Seedling [Indie Game]
Super Hexagon [PC]
Warcraft III RoC/TFT [PC]
Diablo II [PC]
Dark Souls [PC]
Pitball [Playstation]
There's more to the list but I don't remember the names of all of them
and I would look but I don't want to look through all my games to look for them [I grew up with two brothers and we all played different genres of games]
Also there was this game when I was maybe 4 or 5, It was a side scrolling zombie shooter(?) for the PC that I used to always play
I remember dying a lot but I made it further each time so that's what made it fun
If anyone know what I may be talking about, please let me know♥
(?) - Not too sure if it was a shooter but I know it was a side scroller and it had zombies

Re: END OF 2013 RETROSPECTIVE (55 replies, posted in General Discussion)
I've done quite a bit this year, more than I thought I would have ever done♥
• I Graduated from highschool [I almost failed but I turned it around almost last minute]
• I made two albums [I don't know why I haven't made any more but oh well]
• Figured out how to databend
• Went for walks and took pictures, I lost my camera though but I'm hoping to get a new one sometime
• Played music for people at the highschool whenever I had the time to walk there
• I found a lot of great musicians [Not only ones that made chiptune, but some that made witch house and chillwave]
• Met a lot of great people
• I stepped foot in a gym so I'm a step closer of getting to my goal of getting in shape♥
There's a lot of other stuff I did but I can't really remember it
In 2014, I hope to:
• find some musicians in my town to maybe play along with or something♥
• Make more music
• Get some more gadgets for making music [because all I got is a DMG with LSDJ but I want more stuff for an actual setup]♥
• Make some music under other genres [but I'll still be making chiptune a lot♥]
• Get a 2nd Grey DMG to hopefully get chipmusicians/people included in the chip scene to sign [May not mean a lot to some people but it'll always mean a lot to me♥]

Re: A Pixel Art Drop Box (1,052 replies, posted in Graphics, Artwork & Design)
I don't make pixel art too often and sometimes I have a lot of trouble with it because nobody ever took the time to teach me how to do well with it
but uhm, here's something I made for someone:
She asked people to photoshop a picture of her and I didn't have photoshop so I decided to use my knowledge of MS Paint and made this♥

Re: What are your favourite genres of music? (33 replies, posted in General Discussion)
Here are some genres I really enjoy
Quite a bit of people think I make these things up but I feel people here are a lot more understanding♥
• Chiptune
• Seapunk
• Witch House
• Chillwave
• Glo-fi
• Breakcore
There are some more things but it's like one or two songs I listen to under other genres

Re: Which DMG would you choose? (12 replies, posted in General Discussion)
I would want the clear DMG but that's because I don't have one so I want one
I also want a grey DMG to put a green A / B button into because in an order for my LSDJ cart, the button fell into the packaging
But if I get a 2nd grey DMG, I'm probably going to try going to live shows and trying to get as much signatures on it as possible from chiptune musicians and people included in the scene♥

Re: What's the weirdest\most unusual sound you created? (20 replies, posted in General Discussion)
It's not really a weird sound but it can sound glitchy sometimes
- What you do is go into the wav channel and make a kit instrument and do whatever you want, add some normal wav in it [not even as notes or as notes]
- Use that sample/loop in either the first pulse channel or the second [depending on what kind of sound you want]
- change the wav instrument to a pulse instrument and mess with it how you'd like [or keep them both the same instrument]
- Play them separate and then together [one of the pulse channels and the wav channel]♥
I suggest having the tempo set somewhere between 90 and 100 but you can use what you'd like♥
I just find it to sound quite of odd [but very cool] with some of the notes as "???" or as a drum kit sound in a pulse channel

Re: How you make your tunes? (40 replies, posted in General Discussion)
Well when using LSDJ, I use a drum kit to make the first initial loop
I then use both that loop in the WAV channel and the 2nd Pulse channel because the 1st glitches it more than I'd like it to
I then use the first Pulse channel to fill in the spots I feel are empty
Then I go to the noise channel to make various kicks, snares, and high hats to fill in spots that are either empty or to enhance the kicks in the WAV channel
When using FamiTracker, I just fool around on my keyboard to get a melody then I use my laptops keyboard to add a different thing that complements the melody
I usually leave the triangle and noise channels alone in
There's one thing I do to the instruments that I feel just sounds amazing so I've been re-doing some of my earlier FamiTracker songs by changing the old instrument to the new one [it's a small change but it sounds great to me ]

Re: What are you favourite programs for making music? (64 replies, posted in General Discussion)
My favorites would have to be LSDJ and Famitracker
I've tried MilkyTracker a while ago but I couldn't figure it out but I do want to revisit it sometime soon
I want to try more trackers and just try some DAWs to see what I like and don't like but idk where to start
(Not a fan of FL studio, I've tried it a few times and decided it wasn't for my taste)

Re: Would you accept a record deal offer? (28 replies, posted in General Discussion)
Sometimes I'd hope to get signed but other times [Like you] I'd like to just give my music out for free for people to enjoy
and I'm terrible at remembering stuff and I'm a slow worker/big procrastinator
I've made 1 remix, got to make songs for a compilation album, and I'm working on an album [all of this should of been done a few months ago, other than the remix, that's the most recent thing I asked of doing]
