Hey back off! Those are my girlfriends! ;_;

But seriously. Let them come, let them go. Music is what matters. Sweet chiptunes with even sweeter melodies. Dance more, people. Dance more.

I think I might qualify as one of these. And a nude chip artist. But I can always get nuder.

Isn't that the Photoshop "Save for Web" thing with just a very low number of colors?... And that cross thing whatever it's called.

I'm new. Hehehe.

Me too... :3

I forget how long it's been but my soundcloud says it's about 2 months ago since I released my first chiptune. So I guess like 2-3 months since I officially started with LSDJ.

That's just for video cameras and other equipment. I'm referring to your eyes adapting to night. Green is one of the worst ones for this.

Thought about the wrong 'night vision' then. smile Cool.

Anyhooow. I forgot to mention this, but I think it also depends a little on what line of backlight it is. For example the "Envy" line that nonfinite electronics carries is ridiculously bright. Some colors really hurt the eyes. I only have two V3 backlights but they are both a lot easier on the eyes than the Envy backlights. I'm not saying the envy backlights don't have fantastic results, because they do. But if your eyes are to any capacity sensitive then they are pretty much hell to work with.

I would think that red had the least strain on the eyes. Red lights are used in the military to preserve night vision. I guess there's variables, but red is probably best for the nightowls.

Isn't night vision green? Because the human eye sees more green hues than any other color?

I'm sure it varies, however. All I know is that it had the same reaction on my eyes as if I would've been staring into the sun for a while. Huge, blue imprint on the vision that of course dissipates after a while, but not anything you'd want to inflict on yourself voluntarily IMO.

I see that there are already votes against a red backlight. I can only agree. It's terribly straining on the ol' eyeballs there. sad

It should be easy to say in a loud nightclub to an attractive member of your preferred gender.

While I'm at it I might as well:

This is what would happen to me and my handle:

[Loud Music]
Me to girl: "No- it's my DOT Explosion!"
Girl to me: "Your *what*!?"
Me to girl: "My Explosion!"
Girl to me: "You threatening me?"
[Girl leaves with another guy]

sad

Also, Xetryz: It depends on how many people you have that are already following you. Like, if no one knows about you then no one gives two hoots about if you change your name. Same thing with a reboot. You could probably get some of your old fanbase to continue following you, but likely a huge chunk would fall off. Of course it can be regained, but personally I think getting a bigger following is a hard time. But that's probably because I suck so bad, so doesn't necessarily apply to you. smile
It's up to you ultimately. Think about it thoroughly and if you still "need" to, do it.

Yeah it's fine. As long as there isn't too much name overlap that confuses people who try to google you but get linked to some 40 year old gigolo that goes by the same handle. tongue

It needs some work still of course. This is just the beginning... :]

Yeah it's pretty lame.

I have another one too, which is more personal. The above is more for my music stuff and... stuff.
But this other one is for other stuff. Make sense? Of course it does.

They're not really rules, though, they're extremely well-worn guidelines. How many people have trouble speaking before they are taught grammar in school? Do you think about grammar every time your mouth opens to talk? Do you often break known rules of grammar when you speak?

Music theory is like that.

Yeah. You got me. Didn't know what else to call it though. Guidelines, as you said, I guess works better. "Something you have to consider when you do something." Also speaking is mimicking sounds mostly, people can say things they don't even know how to spell or even what they mean.

Also, I think I left out that part I was going to write earlier that I find that this applies mostly to art and stuff. Music closely related in concept. Creating something. For example: I noticed this when I started drawing and painting seriously. There are a *lot* of things to consider. I didn't to begin with, and I can safely say I was happier to draw before I learned all that. I'm past that though, I'm a better artist thanks to that too.

This is only something I read into that idea "Music theory kills creativity". smile
