No, 768 mb isn't exactly a bunch. i got 4gb of ram an i still lag ballz.

768 on windows xp isn't horrible though, older os'es use less ram themselves (xp cant even use 4 gbs of ram, thats above its max limit)...

Anova: if the laptop motherboard supports more ram than that, i think i can hook you up with a few 1 GB sticks

vinyl isn't the only release this thread needs.

happy endings may be cheaper than vinyl pressings

Yeah, I sent them an email and they haven't replied. Just want to know where they press, or if they press themselves. Or maybe they would even release my album...lol Even though it isn't their style.

saskrotch's comment was to point out that TSC runs radiograffiti, so he HAS made records wink

this is about the stupidest thread ever, since its just trying to be real time chat... just join IRC instead...
this is NOT what was intended with the "general discussion" subforum

e.s.c. is part of me, but not exactly me... almost all of the music & live performances have me in a sort of disconnected/trance type state if they're going well, so i guess e.s.c. is mostly in my subconcious... thankfully, there's more to me than that, or i'd be a much stranger guy than i already am

psyched

The sammichsid sounds great, but is a real pain to program without a gui editor.

for real.. and me not wanting to bother with said editor is why i parted with mine... but they do sound wonderful

Hmm very, informative answers, and a lot of guesses, and yes Lazerbeat might know the new users Danimal Cannon smile  but I don't think he cares about poor lil me and my useless question big_smile

he probably wouldn't actually... think only nitro & trash80 could get accurate numbers on that

ok, lets move on to OS and the mode setting options of nlmidi in command line... which OS? (some things work slightly different in command line in different versions of windows) are you remembering to switch the nlmidi to sync mode instead of midi mode (midi is for MGB only)? are you using "-sync" or "-SYNC"? (setting the  mode in caps allows it to retain the mode between uses otherwise it reverts to midi each time its used)

well for the sake of troubleshooting, you should always start with telling people which version you are using for any and all software involved.. which DAW? which version of LSDJ... it could be either, but you give too little info to be sure. may be as simple as a check box that needs to be selected in your DAW in order to have it send start/stop signals

I am really starting to enjoy VJing. I just bought a little 30 usd guitar pedal case which perfectly fits all my stuff. I still want to do a few things

- Replace the power pack with a 2nd N8 (smaller, more reliable with AV famicoms) and have the powerpack as a backup.
- Get 2 of these so I can see the previewscreen more clearly and have a permanant "output" monitor
- make a little stand for the monitors to mount them at the back of the V4
- get a fader style controller for the V4, i know im going to snap the handle my accident some day.
- organize the power cable birds nest a bit more neatly.

the crossfader is well worth it, surprised so few people seem to buy it

the place i was at today had mostly insane prices (which is why i was selling my used shit to them not buying): $35 for a DMG, $30 for GBC, $22 for a mega memory card.
some other fucked prices they had: $35 for a used copy of dead rising &  used Vita for $225
edit: ok, i did buy an nes copy of dr mario, but that was $4

i wouldnt worry, most of us already now about radiograffiti and how good a label it is
